Gear Design Pro - Gear Design and Rating

This program allows the definition of gear pair geometry and a calculation of their rating according to ISO Standards.  Recent changes to ISO6336 in 2006 have been implemented, as well as the supplement in 2007.  A 72 page validation document consistent with the examples in the installation will be provided with the purchase of  the advanced level of this module.

Standard Version


Includes all basic functionality plus:
· Protuberance
· Data entry on main form using up/down arrow keys
· The sizing can use the specified standard rack chosen from the database
· Internal gear design and rating
· Materials database (for Steels)
· Network licence permissible


Advanced Version


Includes all basic and standard functionality plus:
· Centre distance minimization
· Design workspace search for optimisation (approx 10,000 designs)
· The design space search can now work with 3 options
· Definition of non-standard forms (non-circular / segment) in helical component design details
· Batch file operation
· Remote operation
