GPS Release 4.0

The Release 4.0 of the Gear Production Suite was completed for distribution in December 2008. featuring a restructuring of the program operation to make the passing of data between modules more efficient.The Load Analysis Model for example is now called directly from the design tool.

Release 4.1, now under test, will see the activation of the Worm Gear design, rating, and contact analysis.  The release will also see the introduction of the Machine Centre for the simulation of gear manufacture and the Inspection Centre for the evaluation and virtual testing of gear components.  As ever, these can be used as stand-alone tools or embedded in remote machinery.

The response from Machine Tool manufacturers and Inspection Machine manufacturers alike has been emphatic and we look forward to establishing many significant partnerships in this area.
