Dontyne Systems Relaunch Website

Designed in collaboration with MGDigital, we are delighted to launch our new and improved website.

The new look site provides clearer navigation as well as the added functionality of a search tool and we believe represents much more than a redesign, making the site much more user friendly for our visitors.

We would encourage our users to explore the new site and we welcome feedback in order to assist us in making further improvements in the future.

DUGATES development transferred from Design Unit to Dontyne

The Design Unit and Dontyne are collaborating on the continued development of the DUGATES program. This FE program has been extensively validated and used by Design Unit to optimise contact conditions, minimise Transmission Error (and hence noise) and establish robust and error tolerant designs in many applications in the last 15 years. Dontyne will continue to improve operational aspects of this program including data entry and additional graphics, new evaluations, introduce links to metrology equipment, and improving computation time. There are also plans to add to the scope of the analysis and introduce other gear forms. The resulting FE analysis option will, from this point, be a Dontyne Systems product called GATES and form the ‘Advanced’ level of the load analysis model as part of the Gear Production Suite.
